Mike, I did do the five cut method after posting the video when people asked how accurate the sled was. The margin of error over a 20 inch cut was .002 of an inch.
Hi Mike, have you attached an Endurance 10 watt+ laser to your X-carve? I’m thinking of replacing my 3.8 watt JTech Photonics laser with the 10 watt+ Endurance Laser
Just to see how close you got the back, er..closest to you, fence, try the 5 cut method to see how much error you really have with the cross cut sled!

I have upgraded from my X-Carve to my GarageworX CNC but am still using the 2.8w laser from JTech.
